I’m Sophie, and it’s so lovely to meet you.
I’ve been madly in love with photography ever since I took my very first blurry photo at the age of 10. So, when I opened my photography studio in Cordova Bay in 2010, I was over the moon, and very nervous!
Since then, I’ve had the privilege of meeting and photographing hundreds of families and newborns from Victoria and beyond. Over the years, I’ve learned so much about caring for my clients and providing the kind of thoughtful service they truly value.
Simplicity
Parents have busy, hectic lives, so I make sure the photography experience is as easy and straightforward as possible.
Communication is quick and clear. Expectations are set from the beginning, and I always do what I say I’m going to do. Most importantly, I treat my clients the way I would want to be treated.
Safety
Safety is always my number-one priority.
Babies are precious and delicate, and they deserve to be treated with the utmost care. I use only natural, nurse-approved posing and wrapping techniques throughout each session. My studio props and equipment are cleaned after each use to help maintain a healthy environment.
The same care applies to older babies and children. I never encourage risky poses simply because they might look cute in a photograph. Your child’s comfort and safety always come first.
Value
I understand how important it is to feel confident in where you invest your hard-earned money. That’s why I work hard to provide excellent value in every session.
I use our time efficiently while offering as much variety as possible. Before your session, I’ll consult with you about your favourite colours, textures, and locations so that the final images feel personal and meaningful to your family.
My goal is to create an experience that feels easy, heart-warming, and genuinely worth the investment.
